No to frescoe, no to faux

I took this picture while I was sitting on the couch at the cabin, a really crooked snap - no thought to what was in the frame, no getting junk out of the way. I've been looking at it trying to decide on paint colors.
The views are one of the things I love about the place. I think the only answer when it comes to paint colors is white, I want the emphasis to be on the beauty outside...don't really want to detract from it.
I'm not really a white paint girl, well...except for barns - I like white barns - and farmhouses. But inside? I'm all over the color..fearless as a matter of fact. I've painted rooms moss green, chocolate, oxblood red...you name it.
But right now, the only answer that I come up with that doesn't compete with my views is white...boring old white.
Ideas anyone?

I am not a white person, but this house we live in now is white and I love it. It is painted a startlingly bright white inside, and with windows all around, and mu green views, it is very much like living out of doors. All the light comes in and the place is sprking, bright and Spring like year round!

Sand is a color and it won't detract from the view.

what a gorgeous view! not sure what color would be good - try painting one small room first and see if you like the white before to committing to it all over.

thank you so much for your comment about grey gardens. much appreciated!

I like muted earth tones and I bet they would work with that amazing view

or you could do white on 3 walls and pick a color for an accent wall

of course then the chore is to decide which wall and that always gives me anxiety pangs

the header photo is delightful!!
