The old silo...from the ground up. It's just such a
boring photo. I gotta go find a plant to lay under.
Ahhhhhh...much better! This is what a girl sees
when she lays on the ground under
her Solomon Seal plant. The play of the light on
the leaves is so pretty!
I'm trying to take my photo challenge shots here
at the farm, or if I'm out on an errand I'll try to
remember to take my camera with me.
Photo challenges are a great way for me to stop,
to focus...
to pay attention to the unique beauty that
surrounds me right here, every day. And then
launch it out into the blogosphere and share it.

You're off and running on this next project! I love the writing that accompanies the picture. Nicely done!
Love the green leaves. How beautiful.
Sorry about the bees. Those mean little party animals!
Okay so wehn is your birthday so I can send you an Opera Cake. Ahh but I do not think it will fair the journey too well. Okay so I just need to live out West. I use to. I lived in Phoenix. Traveled to Seattle and Portland a few times. LOVE IT! MISS IT!
Great photos. The silo doesn't look all that boring, but the view below those plant leaves is cool and refreshing.
Since I have started carrying my camera with me I am looking at the world in a whole new way. There is a plant down the road a bit that I want to photograph while it is still in bloom. I look at it every night when I drive by. There is no place near it to park and I am not feeling all that enthusiastic about a walk by the end of the day. However, I think it would provide an awesome "from the ground up" photo, so I should go strap my tennies on ....
Thanks for sharing! I happen to love the silo picture...I have a thing with things that are "industrial" looking.
Happy day!
I've seen silos in the distance here and wished I knew someone on one of those farms - so I think this is great.
I do love the plant with that light though - very nice.
I love silos AND farms! I agree with you. Since I've been doing the challenges, I have notices SO many more things outside and when I'm out and about. I love it.
Unfortunately, I tend to take my eyes off the road just a little too much LOL
Ya'll are going to force me into the dirt aren't you? (wink wink)I told Carletta the neighbors will be calling 911 cause they know I'm already crazy!
Very cool! I'm going to chime in and agree that the silo isn't boring; I get dizzy just looking at it from the ground up! The ladder looks particularly cool from that angle.
And I LOVE the plant shot from underneath!
you absolutely must figure out twitter...for two reasons, one, there aren't a whole lot of farmers, or gardeners on there...strength in numbers...solidarity, join us! And two, it is perfect for those with, ummm, short attention spans...
I love the silo shot!
and it is even more stunning when the green of the next photo hits you.
you've got some talent there kid :)
I love the green picture - I want to put it as my wallpaper - I also want to lay down under your Solomon Seal plant.
well, the silo is anything but boring and the flower is awesome!
I know I sound like a broken record, but those photographs are beautiful!
Two very good pictures that fit the task.
There is absolutely nothing boring about the silo picture. I go "barnstorming" every so often, but generally only get distance barns. I need to get friendly with a farmer with a good parn to photograph. Most of my farmer friends either have boring barns or have retired.
