Quiet Riot & From the Ground Up

The poppies are out.

I promised to post a picture of them when they
were full blast...so here they are.
This whole thing started out as one transplant from
moms garden, see what happens when nature is
allowed to do her thing?

This next shot sorta qualifies for a little project hosted by
JFargo at My World in Pictures
called "From the Ground Up".
I laid on the ground to take this shot, it was overcast
today so the sky looks like a white backdrop for the shot.

Oh I love that From the Ground Up shot. I am playing, too, but my photo isn't near so pretty! Of course, I never left my house today -- well, yes I did! -- I stepped out on the lanai ....

How lovely. The last shot was the inspiration for the invention of chiffon fabric! How are you?

These are stunning! Your images of them wonderful - and knowing it started from your Mom's garden must make it extra special for you.
The ground up shot is right on - glad to see you in the project.

I wish our garden would grow like that.
I like your " from the ground up". Flowers beat wires every time in my book.

Hi Shelley!

I love those red poppies! They remind me of England in the summer and in November for Rememberance Day when everyone wears poppies.
