Project Blue. Take Five

I was all set to post a pretty garden picture...I was thinking about a pretty little blue violet, then I changed my mind and decided to post this picture of the blue oat grass in the back yard. I love the movement it gives to the perennial border. I'm stinky about that, I like to see plantings that have something that waves in the breeze...if nothing moves in a landscape it just seems frozen to me....sorta lifeless.
Speaking of lifeless, that's how I was feeling this afternoon. I've been up since 4:30 this morning, I couldn't sleep and I thought rather than toss and turn and keep The Husband awake I would just get up and make a few lists..I'm working in a bridal shower brunch for this Saturday and there are things I need to remember to do.
Anywhoooo....I never buy this coffee stuff, but I picked it up for the brunch/shower. A little while ago I could hardly keep my eyes open so I thought I would make myself an iced latte, and what the heck...I decided to put a little bit of this stuff in. Yowzaaaa...hokey-sugar-rush Nellie! It was gooooood! For about six minutes I felt like a million bucks, and now I just feel yucky. So much for the caffeine buzz I was hoping for, now I know why I don't buy this stuff.
Note to self, don't do that again.

Oh, I know how that goes with that sugary stuff! I crave it, want it, love it, and 6 minutes later, I feel horrid. Much better to just not have it as an option!

Happy happy day!!

Nothing about that garden looks lifeless. Sorry you felt that way today. At least you had 6 minutes of pleasure.

I love that stuff! Yummy, yummy and no feeling horrid after -- unless you mean when I step on the scales ....

Great blues -- I love the garden ball.

I was up at 4:30 earlier this week... I opted for a nap...can't say it really helped, tho, still tired for the rest of the day...I don't think you can ever recapture lost sleep...

The higher you go the harder you fall. Or something like that... That creamer tastes good but ooh I have had some bad times coming back down.

Love the flowers. Alas, I'm hooked on International Delight. I don't always drink coffee anymore, but when I do, I drink it for the International Delight. I think it's drugged. I'm hooked on the smell... I like Cinnamon Hazelnut best.

Love the oat grass - I have to say you must have the most gorgeous garden anywhere! So many plantings you have shown us - I wish I could see it all at once.
Coffee delight - the devil in disquise :)

A sugar rush at 4:30 in the morning is not a good thing. Great pictures though and i like your choices for project blue.
