A teensy rant

Day after day,

Alone on a hill,

The man with the foolish grin is keeping perfectly still,

But nobody wants to know him,

They can see that he's just a fool,

And he never gives an answer,

But the fool on the hill,

Sees the sun going down,

And the eyes in his head,

Sees the world spinning round.................

Okay, so I've never met them. These people up on the hill...I've been told they're very nice, lovely folks in fact. But it just bugs the heck out of me that they destroyed the ridge line like that. I'm quite positive that they have an absolutely stunning view, but I'm guessing the view would have been pretty dang good if they had tucked the building into the hillside and not destroyed the ridge line, they have to own at least 20 acres...probably more like 80. The Good Neighbor Handbook for the Methow Valley even has a little article about how choosing this kind of site for ones home is frowned upon, I guess not everybody cares about being a good neighbor.

Bummer.

I don't really do much ranting here...but I just had to get it out of my system.
