Paint Ponderings

It's everywhere I look,
when I go blog surfing...when I go road tripping.
I'm drawn to grey paint lately...or greige,
that curious mix of grey and beige.
I want to buy a bucket of grey and go grey crazy.
Last weeks adventures got me all fired up to pretty
things up around the farm.
I saw so many beautiful spaces, the sun was shining,
it was one of those magical spaces in time where
everything was spontaneous and filled with laughter.
I met new people, I was charmed, intrigued and inspired.
Sometimes adventures have that effect,
when I come home they make me want to change things up.

All I see now are stunning shades of grey...
with a sliver of the mountain
peeking through the clouds.

So many shades of gray.
How about the same shade of gray as the wings on those birds.

Oh my goodness...I want to paint,
where oh where are my brushes?

My Gram had most of her house painted a soft gray inside. The kitchen was gray and yellow. It doesn't sound wonderful, but it worked well. The living room was gray and a pinkish beige. The bathroom was white with gray trim.

My bedroom was little girl PINK and the only gray in it was the silvery gray fur of the kittens embroidered on my curtains!

I love grey walls. Its funny I dont think I do at the paint store but then I get in a room thats painted grey and I love it.

I was actually just looking at some grey carpet for a room I want to do in blues. A bunch of blues, a monochromatic type room. I think I will. It goes like those birds wings and the sea.

OMG!!! I went to India Jane in London last October. WOWEEEEE! I loved every single thing in the store. I could have just moved right in there. It was very expensive, but wow!
